FSCC youth baseball clinic set for May 3

FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- A youth baseball clinic, sponsored by 5 Corners Mini--Mart, will be held May 3 from 5-6:30 p.m. The clinic will be conducted by the coaches and players of the Fort Scott Community College baseball team and will be held at Lions Field on the FSCC campus.

Fundamentals of hitting, throwing, infield, outfield, and baserunning will all be covered during the camp. The clinic is open to kids ages 4-14.

Each student will receive a camp T-shirt and have the opportunity after the camp to receive autographs from Greyhound players.

Cost of the clinic is $10. Registration begins at 4:30 at the field. In the case of rain, the camp will still be held, but will be moved indoors into the Dave Regan Clubhouse next to the baseball field.
