OSWEGO -- Damon Trotnic rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback Lane Martin rushed for two scores and threw for another as Oswego eliminated Uniontown from the Class 2-1A Playoffs with a 59-7 victory here Tuesday night.

Oswego (10-0) has outscored its opponents 432-26 this season. In its two meetings with the Indians, Uniontown (4-6) scored 20 points.

"Oswego is a very good team that should make a deep run in the playoffs," Eagle head coach Chad Stroud said. "We knew they would not overlook us since we jumped out to a 13-0 lead the first time we played them this year."

Uniontown's only score came in the fourth quarter as Ben Dixon hauled in an 8-yard pass from Zach Travis for the score. Seth Sympson made the extra point.

"We were able to put a nice drive together in the fourth quarter and score on their starting defense," Stroud said.

Uniontown managed only 119 yards in total offense compared to 461 for Oswego. Dixon caught 5 passes for 22 yards for the Eagles. On defense, Ty Clayton was credited with 14 tackles, Max Labbe with 13 and Matt Maloney 11.

"I hope our younger kids see Oswego as an example of what a difference a year of everyone dedicated in the weightroom can make." Stroud said.

The Indians, the only Three Rivers League team remaining in the playoffs in any class, will host undefeated Olpe at 6 p.m. Saturday.
