Christian Learning Center, Christian Heights begin volleyball seasons

WEBB CITY, Mo. -- Fort Scott's Christian Learning Center and Fort Scott Christian Heights began their volleyball seasons here Saturday.

Christian Learning Center won its first match of the day, beating the Joplin Area Home School, 25-12, 25-6. Kensi Kitsmiller served 17 points and Haley Davis served 10.

CLC faced Christian Heights in the second match and lost 25-12, 25-20. Kitsmiller served for 6 points.

Christian Heights sent varsity and JV teams here but neither team's scores were available. The FSCH varsity won the tournament.

Both schools play in the Mid-America Christian Conference and will play most of their games here. The conference put schools into Upper and Lower divisions based on their results in the tournament. Both CLC and FSCH varsity teams will play the season in the Upper Division.
