Nona Blanche Wintersteen, 87, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Nov. 2, 2008 In Indianapolis.

She was born May 16, 1921 in Guckeen, Minn., the daughter of Thomas and Hazel Ginn. She was married to Elmo Richard "Moe" Wintersteen Feb. 13, 1946 in Wichita, Kan. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1989.

Nona is survived by three daughters and their husbands; Wanda and Charlie Hopper of Avon, Ind., Jeanie and James Bryant of Jefferson City, Mo., and Wendy Wintersteen and her husband Robert Waggoner of Ames, Iowa. Nona was blessed to have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Nona's wishes, she was cremated. Rev. Paul Babcock will conduct a graveside memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at the Maple Grove Cemetery, where Nona will be interred beside her husband.
