JOHN FRANKLIN LOTTERER III

John Franklin Lotterer III, 70, formerly of Fort Scott, and more recently of Lake Elsinore, California, passed away at the Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, California, Thursday, March 13, 2008. He was born April 28, 1937 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of John Franklin II and Nelda Creola (Burns) Lotterer.

He worked as a Master Crane Operator in the Heavy Construction field, and worked on numerous projects for the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California. He was on the board of the Labor Union, and he was a 32nd degree Free Mason.

John is survived by his wife Maria Terminel (Monreal) Lotterer, of the home, his children; John Franklin Lotterer IV, James Bryan Lotterer, Deanna Marie Burton, and Dean Edison Stoneking, two sisters; Mary Elizabeth Lotterer, and Margerett Ann Giffert, one brother; James David Lotterer, and five grandchildren; David William Lotterer, Scott Franklin Lotterer, Lauren Elizabeth Lotterer, Abigail Elaine Lotterer, and Demi Elise Flannery, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Richard Dee Lotterer.

Rev. Steve MacArthur will conduct funeral services for John Franklin Lotterer III, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, Fort Scott, Kansas, 66701.
