Joe Hall, age 83, a resident of Bronson, Kansas, died Monday, December 31, 2007, at the Mercy Health Center. He was born November 15, 1924, in Devon, Kansas, the son of Chase Edgar Hall and Dottie Josephine Calvin Hall. He married Marybelle Snyder on June 28, 1947, at Fort Scott, Kansas. Joe was a life long farmer and stockman. He greatly enjoyed draft horse pulling and traveled extensively to compete in various horse pulling events. He also enjoyed ranch rodeos. Joe was a member of the Faith Christian Center.

Survivors include his wife, Marybelle, of the home in Bronson; a son Wayne Hall, Uniontown, Kansas; and a daughter, Mary Jo LaRue, Bronson, Kansas. Also surviving is a brother, Marvin Hall, Redfield, Kansas; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Maxine Pankratz, and a great-granddaughter, Makala LaRue.

Pastor Tim O'Neal will conduct funeral services at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bronson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel.
