Jack Hollandsworth, 67, of West Fork, Ark., died Wednesday, aug. 8, 2007 in Springdale. He was born Sept. 8, 1939 at Hayti, Mo. He was a Navy Seal during the Vietnam Conflict and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Bronze Star medal and a Good Conduct Medal. He graduated in 1972 from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Vocational Education, retired from Tyson's and was working for McWhorter Trucking. His passion and hobby was golf.

He was proceeded in death by is wife, Beth Bradley Hollandsworth in 1993 and his parents Mark and Margaret Lumpkin.

Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Laney and husband, Bill of Springdale, Ark., his son, Scott Hollandsworth and grandchildren Will, Emily and Allison Laney of Springdale and Candice Hollandsworth and good friend Ann Mason.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Pam Ciccioni officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Pleasanton Cemetery in Pleasanton, Kan. Visitation is Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory.

The family has requested memorials be made to Circle of Life Hospice or First Tee Program, a program to introduce kids to the game of golf.
