Irene Ruthrauff

Irene Ruthrauff, 91, died July 2, 2007 at Moran Manor Nursing Home, Moran, Kan.

Ruthrauff was born March 2, 1916 in Moran, Kan. to Samuel John and Gertrude (Stuteville) Baker.

Irene worked as a custodian from 1955 - 1979 in Fort Scott, Kan. while married to Lloyd W. Wright before his death in 1979. she married Virgil Ruthrauff, May 5, 1984 in Moran, Kan. While married to Virgil she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Moran Presbyterian Church until its closing. She was currently a member of the Paint Creek Church.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Lloyd, and seven brothers and one sister.

Surviving members are her husband Virgil, Moran, Kan., brother, George Baker, Penn Yan, N.Y., sister Viola Malmgren, Chicago, sons; Donald L. Wright, Overland Park, Kan, and Richard P. Wright, O'Fallon, Mo. and daughters; Dorothy Fulton, Bothell, Wash.,Sue Morton, Winfield, Kan. Her surviving step daughter include Jeannie Bedenbender, Boise, Colleen Strong, Kingsman, Kan. and Vicki Welch, Alamosa, Colo.

She was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Feuerborn Family Funeral service, Moran Kan. at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 7, 2007. Irene will be buried at Moran Cemetery with Pastor Chub Boling presiding. Guest can visit with the family after 11 a.m. today, July 5, 2007, at the funeral home at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 344 N. Cedar, Moran, Kansas 66755. A memorial fund has been set up for the Paint Creek Church.
