Ag Profitability Conference slated

The Southwind Extension District and Citizens Bank will host an Ag Profitability Conference on Feb. 12 in the Allen County Courthouse basement. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with registration and conclude at 2:30 p.m.

Speakers and presentations scheduled are:

10 a.m. -- Glynn Tonsor: Profitability Drivers and Global Position Impacts on the U.S. Beef Industry's Future

10:45 a.m. -- Troy Dumler: Crop Profitability Outlook for 2013

11:30 a.m. -- Lunch provided

Noon -- Gordon Dowell: What's Next

12:30 p.m. -- Kevin Herbel: Bringing the Next Generation to the Farm: Do we have what we need to do what we want?

1:15 p.m. -- Bryan Schurle: Land Prices During Periods of Rapid Change
