JV girls track fifth at Chanute

CHANUTE -- Fort Scott High School's junior varsity girls' track team finished fifth at the Chanute here Monday. Chanute was the winner with 127 points followed by Iola with 60 and Coffeyville and Labette County tied with 43. Fort Scott scored 39 points.

Maddie Barbour won the 100-meter dash in a time of 14.07 seconds, took third in the 200 in 30.46 and finished third in the long jump at 12' 7".

Fort Scott took second place in the 4x800-meter relay in 12:48.15.

Katie Jo Hull was fourth in javelin with a mark of 84' 9".

Michaela Webb was fifth in the 100 meters in 14.47.

The Tiger JV was scheduled to compete at Pleasanton Tuesday. They are also slated to go to Paola Monday.
