Betty Justice, 85, died March 28, 2012, in her home at Tonganoxie, Kan. Mrs. Justice was formerly a resident of Fulton, Kan.

She was born March 19, 1927, to John P. and Mary (Stegman) Eberly in Denver, Colo. She married Fred A. Justice who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1995.

Mrs. Justice was a homemaker and worked as a nursing assistant after raising her children. She was an avid quilter and caretaker of her husband several years prior to his death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors include: Janice Needham-Gagné, daughter, Tonganoxie; Robert Needham, son, and his wife Deniece, San Diego, Calif.; Ronald Needham, son, Independence, Mo.; Tommy Needham, son, and wife Carlen, Denver; and Earl Justice, son, Tonganoxie.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Jordan Gagné, Valerie, Stephanie, Melody, and Mark Needham; Samuel, Peter, and David Needham; Mary and Lisa Needham, Christine Justice; Travis Justice; four great-grandchildren and one sister.

Mrs. Justice will be buried at Fort Logan, Colo., with her husband. The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Justice was a member of the Kansas Cremation Service.
