Kenneth E. Blevins age 79 of Reyno, Ark., passed away on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center, Jonesboro, Ark.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at the Hopewell Cemetery, Montrose, Mo.

Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Mo.

Family suggests contributions to the Hopewell Cemetery and may be left at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton.

Kenneth was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Campbellsville, Ky., the only son of Ezra and Mary Alice (Druin) Blevins.

He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He then graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., with a B.S. in electrical engineering.

He worked for the Southwestern Power Administration, Department of Energy, Department of the Interior of the United States of America before retiring after 30 years.

He designed the transmission lines for Table Rock Lake and the Beaver Dam.

He was a member of the Kentucky Colonial's Association and the Professional Engineers in Oklahoma.

He was a Presbyterian.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gertrude Marie (Harness) Blevins of the home; two children, Chrisdon Earl Blevins of Paragould, Ark.; and Trina Alzere (Blevins) Hurst of Reyno, Ark.; and three grandchildren, Savannah Lawson of Corning, Ark.; and Jessica and Chase Blevins of Jonesboro, Ark.
