BEVERLY ANN MCREYNOLDS

Beverly Ann McReynolds, age 69, resident of Fort Scott, Kansas died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Mercy Health Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 19, 1939, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Albert Leon Combs and Ruth Ballinger Combs.

She married Glen A. McReynolds on April 8, 1962, at Miami, Oklahoma.

Beverly had worked for Mid-Western Distribution as well as Mid-America Business Forms. She later worked as a machine operator for thirty years at Key-Industries.

Beverly attended the Cherry Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Glen, of the home; a brother, Albert Leon Combs, Jr. and wife, Kathy, Arma, Kansas; three sisters, Alberta Fisher and husband Darryl, Franklin, Kansas, Linda Sue Carpenter and husband, Dale, College Station, Texas, and Sherry Hendrickson, Georgetown, Texas.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the U. S. National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Cheney Witt Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
