Lila Rosalie Stanley, 76, Emporia, Kan., died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Holiday Resort, Emporia.

Surviving family members include two sisters; Bonnie Irby, Fort Scott and Norma Ewing, Topeka, nieces; Linda Lungstrum, Lawrence, Kan. and Louise Poehlman, Tucson, Ariz. Also surviving are nephew Steve Irby, Eureka Springs, Ark., six great-nephews, two great-nieces, three great-great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.

Funeral services for Lila Stanley were held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2008, at the First Christian Church, Emporia. Service was conducted by Rev. Bob Colerick of the church with interment in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.

Memorials are with the church, or the ALS Association, with contributions sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
