Nada Pearl Rathbun, age 74, a resident of Uniontown, Kan., died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott, Kan. She was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Vici, Okla., the daughter of Audrey Turner and Maggie Taylor Turner. She married Leonard Rathbun on Sept. 25, 1951, at Mineral Wells, Texas. In addition to raising her five children, Nada worked as a waitress. She was a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard, of the home in Uniontown; four sons, Rick L. Rathbun and wife, Lennie, Ozawkie, Kan., Rusty L. Rathbun and wife, Dulene, Wichita, Kan., Randy L. Rathbun and wife, Bonnie, Uniontown, Kansas and Ronnie L. Rathbun and wife, Pamela, Tyler, Texas; a daughter, Robin L. Browning and husband Jake, Minco, Okla. Also surviving is a brother Duane Turner, Woodward, Okla.; a sister, Leta Padgett, Lefors, Texas; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Davis and a grandson, Travis Rathbun.

Following cremation, the Rev. Joel Dunn will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Uniontown United Methodist Church. A second memorial service will be held July 5th in Vici, Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
