Wayne Eudell Robertson, age 79, a resident of Fort Scott, Kansas, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Mercy Health Center. He was born July 6, 1928, in Clarksville, Ark. Wayne had worked as a brick layer and stone mason. He had also retired from the Civil Service at the El Toro Marine Base in Orange County, Calif. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post NO. 636 at Boron, Calif.

Survivors include three sons, David Wayne Robertson, Fort Scott, Kan., Toby Ray Robertson and Carl Lee Robertson, both of California; a brother, D. L. Robertson, Fort Scott; and two sisters, Georgia Hutton and Alicia Trexler, both of Fort Scott. Also surviving are four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at the U.S. National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Olson Frary Burkhart Post No. 1165 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
