Tiger runners in top 10 at state

The Fort Scott High School girls’ cross country team finished eighth and the boys’ squad placed 10th at the 2020 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A and 4A Cross Country Championships Saturday at the Wamego Country Club.

In the 5K run, Fort Scott’s girls finished with a total score of 194, total time of 1:56:10 and average time of 23:24. Baldwin High School’s girls’ team finished first in 4A with a total score of 39, total time of 1:46:05 and average time of 21:13.
