Graduation – finally

Uniontown High School graduates toss their caps in the air at the conclusion of Saturday night’s graduation ceremony at the high school football field. The ceremony, originally planned to take place in May, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seniors not only received diplomas, but medals honoring their perseverance through the pandemic, which impacted the end of the school year. Members of the USD 235 Board of Education presented diplomas and medals to graduates. The ceremony included remarks from members of the UHS Class of 2020, UHS English teacher Alicia Jackson and UHS Principal Mike Reith.
