USD 234 updates meal plan

Friday, April 3, 2020

USD 234 officials have updated the district’s food service routes for the week of April 6.

The district will conduct three distributions next week. Children will receive the same amount of meals for the week but will pick them up over three days. Each child will receive two meals on Monday, four meals on Tuesday and four meals on Wednesday.

District officials are asking families to register to pick up meals. This will provide officials with better information to prepare for the numbers being served. A form will need to be filled out for each day. Families can register at www.usd234.org.

The deadlines to register are noon Friday for Monday, April 6 meals; noon Monday for Tuesday, April 7 meals and noon Tuesday, April 7 for Wednesday, April 8 meals.

Questions that will be asked are:

• Will you be picking up meals?

• Where will you be picking up meals?

• How many children 1-18 will you be picking up meals for?

• Adult contact name?

• Adult contact phone number?

The form should take no longer than one minute to fill out.

Anyone with questions can call or email Kerrie Wilson at (620) 223-0800 or by email at kerrie.wilson@usd234.org.
