The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports as of 3 p.m. Monday, March 23, there are 82 positive, confirmed cases of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Kansas.

That number includes one death each in Johnson and Wyandotte counties.

In addition, there were two positive cases of out-of-state residents reported, each in Ford and Miami counties.

34 cases: Johnson County, 16; Wyandotte County, 8; Leavenworth County, 2; Morris County, 2; and one each in Butler, Cherokee, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson and Linn counties.

March 18 numbers

21 cases: Johnson County, 11; Wyandotte County, 5; Leavenworth County, 2; and one each in Butler, Douglas and Franklin counties.

March 17 numbers:

16 cases: 10 in Johnson County, three in Wyandotte County and one each in Butler, Douglas and Franklin counties.
