Raymond Joseph Shullick

Raymond Joseph Shullick, 80, of Bronson, Kan., passed away Oct. 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. Raymond was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Shullick on May 24, 1939 in Lorain, Ohio. Raymond moved to Redfield, Kan., in 1971 and remained in the area the rest of his life. He worked for Midwestern Distribution in Fort Scott, Kan., for 20 years, where he drove a truck and was a dispatcher. He then worked as a courier until he retired in 2008.

He is survived by his companion, Phyllis Debes of the home; son Raymond Shullick, Jr. of Lakewood, Ohio; daughter April Ryberg and husband Freddy of Pittsburg, Kan.; son Troy Shullick and wife Amy of Mars, P.A.; daughter Samantha Desmond and husband Zachary of Key West, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister Joanne Pesho and husband Steve of Dalton, Ohio; sister Rita McConley of Lorain, Ohio; brother-in-law Richard Lustek of Sun City West, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; son Joseph Shullick; sister Delores Lustek and brother-in-law John McConley.

Raymond chose to donate his body to the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

At Raymond’s request no formal service will be held. The family suggests memorial contributions to be sent to Union State Bank at P.O. Box 100, Uniontown, KS 66779. Funds will be used to help pay medical bills.
