Dennis "Denny" K. Harris passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the age of 71 years peacefully at his home, with friends by his side. He was born May 1, 1948, at home one mile east and one mile north of Blue Mound, Kan., in a four-room house without plumbing or electricity. He then attended Pittsburg State University, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 1970. He was united in marriage to Linda Church in Lone Elm, Kan. They later divorced. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Consistory, and the Blue Mound Mound United Methodist Church. Denny was an avid collector of toy tractors and implements and enjoyed his extensive collection. Denny was the type of person that tried to attend to his own affairs and not get involved in others’ business. But, he was there to listen and help as needed. He always tried to manage and invest his money wisely and attempted to always make every dollar count. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren K.
