Commissioners mull over generator purchase

Bourbon County Commissioners are discussing whether to help fund a replacement generator for the Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Department, which is in the process of moving to a new location.

During their Tuesday meeting, commissioners discussed costs for a new or used generator that would be moved to the SEKMCHD’s new location in a building at the corner of Sixth and Horton streets. The health department purchased the building from Cornerstone Bible Church. That move has not yet been completed, officials said.
