Tiger boys get dramatic OT win; girls fall in Chanute

In a game that ended in dramatic fashion, the Fort Scott Tiger boys basketball team (3-10 overall, 2-4 in the SEK) came out on top 67-63 over the Chanute Blue Comets (8-5, 3-3) in overtime Tuesday night in Chanute.

The boys’ game, which featured some questionable officiating and scorekeeping late, followed a girls’ contest in which the Lady Tigers (2-11, 1-5) fell 47-24 to the Lady Blue Comets (6-7, 4-2). The Tiger boys’ win broke the team’s three-game losing streak.
