Eagle softball sweeps St. Paul

ST. PAUL Uniontown softball posted a sweep of St. Paul here Thursday in Three Rivers League play. The Eagles won game one 10-3 and the second 22-1.

Maddie Ard struck out 4 batters for the Eagles in game one. Jacy Bowen had 2 hits.

Makenzee Franklin had 3 hits for Uniontown in game two. Sivanah McAnulty had a triple.

Keely Goodridge struck out 3 batters for the Eagles.

Uniontown improved to 4-2 in league and overall. The Eagles have scored at least 10 runs in each of their four wins this season.

St. Paul fell to 0-4, 0-4.

Uniontown plays a league doubleheader Monday at Jayhawk-Linn.
