Jeffrey Michael Lotterer

Jeffrey Michael Lotterer, most recently of Salina, Kan., passed away Monday afternoon Dec. 11, 2017 at the Guest Home Estates in Fort Scott.

He was born Nov. 4, 1959 to George and Ernestine Lotterer at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott. Jeff attended Fort Scott public schools. Before Jeff’s illness he had worked as the dairy barn foreman on a farm just outside of McPherson, Kan., and also worked construction for several years.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as older brother Steven Lotterer. Surviving are his four sons, Jeremy, Joshua, Jared and Joseph Lotterer, all of Fort Scott. Also surviving are Jeff’s stepfather Alfred Basel of Fort Scott, his brother Jay Lotterer (wife Crystal) and sister Shelly Minton (husband Phil) all of Pittsburg, Kan.
