ONLINE FIRST: Dodge City 45, FSCC 35

No. 20-ranked Dodge City held off Fort Scott Community College, 45-35, in Jayhawk Conference football at Frary Field Saturday night.

The Conquistadors (3-1 Jayhawk, 6-2 overall) led 21-0 after nine minutes of play and never trailed.

The Greyhounds (1-3, 3-4) got within a touchdown three times, the last in the third quarter on Harry Trotter's 18-yard scoring run with 8:13 left in the third quarter.

Quarterback Nathan Rourke found Fred Daughtry from 29 yards out with 4:42 to go to bring Fort Scott with 43-35.
