Washing the Western

Flint Hills Holding Group LLC is renovating the property into the Western Senior Living Apartments. Director of Economic Development Heather Smith told the Fort Scott City Commission on Tuesday developers are "pushing for" an October completion date on the project. Smith said the developers are using local contractors on the project. Rau Construction, Co., of Overland Park, is the contractor.
