Jeffrey Warren Daly

Jeffrey Warren Daly, age 57, resident of Fort Scott, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Mercy Hospital. Jeff was born Jan. 17, 1959 in Fort Scott, the son Bob Daly and Winnie Leek Daly. He married Sharon Jamison on Jan. 14, 1989, in Fort Scott. Jeff worked for Midwestern Distribution, Coke, and as a truck driving instructor for Fort Scott Community College. Jeff loved spending time with friends and family especial the grandkids. He loved the outdoors and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; his mother Winnie Daly, of Fort Scott; children, Aaron Daly and wife Jessica, Justin Daly and wife Allison, Jessica Marsh and husband Zack, and Amber Kelly and husband Matt, all of Fort Scott; a brother Max Daly and wife Laurie, three sisters Becky Davis and husband Don, Gwen Lancaster and husband Don, of Fort Scott, and Judy Hayden and husband Sam, of St. John, Kan.; grandchildren, Alexis, Braxton and Kolton Daly, Jack Olin, Jenna Kakas, Bristol Marsh, Aniston and Rhett Joel Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by a son Joel Daly, and his father Bob Daly.

Rev. Kent Rogers will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Cheney Witt Chapel Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Care to Share and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main St. P.O.
