Flying flags are flapping

According to the National Weather Service, wind northwest winds reached 24 mph and gusts hit 35 mph. Elevated fire weather conditions are expected today and Thursday as a dry airmass builds into the area. Wind gusts today could reach as high as 23 mph with wind becoming lighter by Thursday. The weather is expected to get chillier, with highs in the low 60s and lows in the high 30s today and Thursday. A freeze may occur this weekend with temperatures potentially falling near or below freezing Friday and Saturday nights, according to the NWS.
