FSCC softball goes 2-2 over weekend

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- Fort Scott Community College softball split four games player here over the weekend.

Saturday, the Greyhounds took on North Central Texas first, winning 18-11. Cheyenne Brewer, hit four home runs for the 'Hounds (5-6). Taylor Brecheisen, Kristen Tyler, Allison Davis and Kaylan Morgan each hit one.

In the second game, Rose State defeated Fort Scott, 13-10. Tyler had 2 hits and drove in 4 runs. Perez also had 2 hits and scored 3 times.

Sunday, Fort Scott and Rose State split a doubleheader. Rose State won the opener, 9-2, while the Greyhounds took the second game 6-3.

Morgan and Bart had 2 hits each in the first game. McKenzie Hersh had 2 hits for the Greyhounds in game two while Wilson drove in 2 runs.

Fort Scott travels to Neosho, Mo. to take on Crowder College Wednesday.
