Kansas team wins Missouri championship

The Christian Learning Center volleyball team won the Division II championship of the Missouri Christian School Athletic Association State Championship Tournament, held Oct. 23-25 at Ozark Christian College in Joplin. The Mustangs defeated Eagle Ridge Christian of Cape Girardeau, Mo., in the finals, 25-18, 25-14. Marley Davis received All-State recognition and Lauren Stark received Second Team recognition.
