Rebekah Houser/Tribune photo The library of the Fort Scott Middle School flowed with students, teachers, and locals during the seventh-grade Wax Museum project Wednesday morning. As part of a history project, students read a biography of a famous person in history, give a brief first-person speech, then complete a research paper on that person. During the Wax Museum presentation, family members and other visitors are given a list of famous people, then visit the stations where students act as statues. When a visitor pushes a button, the student then reads a speech about the famous person they are portraying, bringing that historical person "to life."
