Uta Ruth Natter

Uta Ruth Natter, 52, of Fort Scott, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Lukes Medical Center on the Plaza in Kansas City, Mo. She was born Feb. 6, 1963 in Schweinfurt, Germany the daughter of Horst and Gabriela Khrista (Six) Natter.

Uta was the kindest, sweetest soul with the greatest heart and energy for life. She had an unrivaled capacity for unconditional love. This untimely death has taken us all by surprise but let us find comfort in knowing she was truly happy before she left this world. She was achieving her goals, living in the moment and dreaming of a beautiful future. In honor of this wonderful spirit may we all approach our days and each other with open arms and an open heart.

Uta is survived by her children, Monica Salas, Straton Hunziker, and Devon Hunziker; two brothers, Uve Natter, and Christopher Dial; her mother, Gabriela Tuley, a grandson, Jack Salas, and her fiancé, Rick Bohlken. She was preceded in death by her father.

Uta's request was to be taken to Harney Peak in South Dakota for her farewell so there will be no funeral service. Following cremation, friends and family are encouraged to stop in at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral home during business hours to pay respects and write in her Memory Journal.
