Elizabeth Josephine Gooding

Elizabeth Josephine Gooding, 90, of Fulton, died Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015 at the Medicalodge Nursing Home. She was born March 19, 1924 in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Jerome and Rose Manfredi. She married Clarence Gooding June 1, 1957 in Tulsa, Okla. He preceded her in death June 21, 2011.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Craig Gooding of La Cygne, Kan., and Brent Gooding of Chesapeake, Va.; three grandchildren, Chad Gooding and wife Amanda, Heather Wilson and husband Christian, and Christopher Gooding and wife Julie; and seven great-grandchildren, Caden, Carter, Liam, Jackson, Caroline, Eliza, and Amelia. In addition to her husband Clarence, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Jerry, John, Nat, and Frank Manfredi, and a sister, Rosie Centonze.

Rev. Reed Hartford will conduct graveside services 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. and will leave for the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W.
