Tigers swept by Colgan, Chanute

CHANUTE -- Fort Scott High School's volleyball team was swept in two sets by both Chanute and Colgan in non-league competition here Tuesday.

The Tigers (0-2) lost to Colgan, 26-24, 25-21. Elisha Hasenplaugh had 7 kills for the Tigers. Katie Gorman came up with 22 digs and Ashley Cook handed out 41 assists.

Fort Scott lost to Chanute, 25-14, 25-8. Aburee Altic and Abi Keating had 3 kills each. Gorman had 14 digs.

The Tigers will have their first home matches Saturday when Columbus, Girard and Pittsburg come calling in non-league matches. Play begins at 9 a.m. at the FSHS gymnasium.
