Reuben Harry Lowery, age 84, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Thursday morning, Jan. 16, at his home. He was born Sept. 23, 1929, the son of Albert Dewey and Odessa Bryner Lowery. He married Ruth Caroline Dennison on May 23, 1959, in Overland Park, Kan. He dedicated his life to Christ in May of 1948. He attended Transylvania Bible College in Freeport, Pa., Kansas City College and Bible School in Overland Park, Kan., and Truman University in Kirksville, Mo. Reuben pastored churches in Missouri, Iowa, and Kansas. He also taught at Kirksville Bible School. He was registrar and head of the Education Department at Kansas City College and Bible School. He worked in pastoral ministries as a volunteer at Mercy Hospital for 15 years. His hobbies included reading and refinishing furniture. He faithfully attended the Parkway Church of God (Holiness).
