JV and freshmen football results

INDEPENDENCE -- Fort Scott High School's junior varsity football team took a 28-0 victory over Independence here Monday night. The Tiger freshmen team fell to Indy, 18-6. No other details were available.

The JV plays Labette County Monday at 5 p.m. at Frary Field. The freshmen are scheduled to be idle until Oct. 21 when they face Paola at Frary Field.
