Rowland L. Page

Rowland L. Page, age 80, a resident of Ft. Scott, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the Arma Care Center in Arma, Kan. He was born June 26, 1932, in Big Piney, Mo., the son of Sherman W. Page and Ida F. Sawyer Page. Rowland was retired from the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed football.

He is survived by his friends and caregivers, Sonny and Geeta Patel, of Ft. Scott, and a step-daughter Tonya Oneslager, of Ft. Scott.

Rev. Chuck Russell will conduct graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the U.S. National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Olson Frary Burkhart Post #1165 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends and family may meet at the Cheney Witt Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to leaving for the cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Ft. Scott, Kan.
