Duain LaFarge

Duain LaFarge, 47, of Fort Scott, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in Fort Scott. He was born June 23, 1965 in Fort Scott, the son of Fay Howard and Edith Louise (Main) LaFarge. He married Linda Marie Ferguson Feb. 10, 1996.

Survivors include his mother, Edith; his wife Linda; his children, Dani Rae LaFarge, Heather Marie LaFarge, both of the home, Nichole Bryant and husband Jon of Tulsa, Okla., and Cameron LaFarge of Owasso, Okla., and two sisters, Karen Headley and husband Mark of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Arita McAlister and husband Randy of Fort Scott.

Rev. Kevin Moyers will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home with burial following at the West Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
