Fred and Ellen Geneva will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 10. Fred Geneva and Ellen Ashford were married Jan. 10, 1953. They have three children, Julie Brown and husband Danny, Brett Geneva and wife Nancy, Cherie Witt and husband Matt, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom reside in Fort Scott.
