As has been the case in years past, the Fort Scott Community College baseball program has continued to pursue renovations to Lions Field.

This year's project included the extension of the brick backstop from behind home plate to each of the dugouts.

This project could not have been completed without the help of the Construction Trades program at FSCC under the direction of Nacoma Oehme and the students in his program.

"We always try to improve our facilities to build excitement for our players and visiting recruits. I am very grateful to the construction trades program, they consistently aid in the renovations to our field, and the work is always done with the upmost quality and care. Our facility looks beautiful, and a major part of that is because of Nacoma and his students," head coach John Hill III said.

As the semester came to a close, the baseball team completed off-season weights and conditioning and will say good-bye to the players as they return home for the holiday break.
