SYLVIA JUNE BYBEE

Sylvia June Bybee, 86, formerly of Fort Scott, passed away Tuesday morning Dec. 11, 2012, at the Cedar Crest Care Center in Broken Arrow. She was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Uniontown, Kan., the daughter of Alton Harry and Ellen Irene (Roberts) Clark. She married Hubert Eugene Bybee March 11, 1943, in Fort Scott, Kan. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 1999.

Survivors include a daughter Vicky Kelley and her husband Joe of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two grandchildren, Tara Ryan of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Craig Kelley of Guthrie, Okla.; a sister, Bobbe Ward and husband Danny of Fort Scott, Kan.; and a brother, Richard Clark and wife Pat of Wichita, Kan.

Joe Kelley will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Fort Scott National Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

Family and friends will meet at the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. prior to services and leave for the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. There will be a visitation Thursday evening Dec. 13, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kan., 6670.
