Bronson Christmas celebration to be held Saturday

Wednesday, November 28, 2012

The city of Bronson will host a Christmas celebration on Saturday.

Santa Claus will be coming to town in a fire truck and will visit with children from 11 a.m. to noon at the Bronson Community Center.

Arts and crafts and gift tables will be set up from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the community center, and the Bronson Fire Department will host a soup and chili fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free-will offering. Proceeds go to the Bronson Fire Department.

Attendees can join organizers for the lighting of the Community Christmas tree and the singing of Christmas carols at 6 p.m. in front of the library. Refreshments will be served following these activities. Volunteers are needed for singing and playing Christmas music throughout meal time.

For more information, contact Bronson City Hall at (620) 939-4578, or 939-4793.
