In honor of American Education Week, Nov. 11-17, students from Linda Minor's first-grade class at Winfield Scott Elementary School wrote about what they like best about school. Spellings are as submitted.
According to the National Education Association website, the week presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
