The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference has released its All-Conference and Division II All-District volleyball teams. Three members of Fort Scott Community College's team are on each squad.

Sophomores Taylyn Schwartz and Ashley Bell and freshman Haylee Toothman were picked to both the All-KJCCC-Eastern Division and All-Region VI-Division II-District N teams.

Schwartz, a 5' 7" setter from Eureka, was fourth in the nation and second in Region VI in assists per set (10.94), one of only seven players in the nation to average more than 10 per set. She also averaged 2.94 digs per set.

Bell, a 6' 0" middle hitter from Moreno Valley, Calif., was picked to the First Team in both the division and the district. She ranked 10th in Region VI in kills per set (2.90) and tied for ninth in kill percentage(.294).

Toothman, a 5' 8" outside hitter from Shawnee, was ninth in Region VI in digs per set (4.10) and ninth in the region and 47th nationally in kills per set (3.06).

The 'Hounds finished 23-12 this season under second-year head coach Lindsay Hill and qualified for post-season play for the first time since 2007. The 'Hounds were also nationally ranked for three weeks in September.

The sophomore class won 48 matches over two years, the most victories for FSCC volleyball over any two-year period in school history.
