On Dec. 6, 1947, in Fort Scott, Kan., he was united in marriage to Wilma Marie Koch, who survives of the home.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had a special interest in Model A&T gas engines. Frank served his country honorably during Vietnam and WW II in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Granite Lodge 272 and York Rite, both of Sedalia; Scottish Rite of Fort Scott, Kan.; American Legion and a former member of Mirza Shrine of Pittsburg, Kan.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Beverly Joe Degani and her husband Galen of Center, Colo., John William Taylor of Oakley, Calif.; Linda Marie Dennison and her husband Gerald of Hutchinson, Kan.; one sister, Carol Wilson and her husband Kenneth of Manzanola, Colo.; three brothers, Don Taylor and his wife Kathyrn of Scott City, Kan., Dale Taylor and his wife Jeanette of Garden City, Kan., Darrel Taylor and his wife Mildred of Garden City, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Rex, Eric, Ryan, Mellissa, Kelly, Sean and Matt; seven great grandchildren and 22 step-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma McWilson and a granddaughter, Cindy Cress.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Fort Scott National Cemetery Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. Masonic service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
