William and Linda Gollhofer

William L. Gollhofer and Linda S. Good were married Aug. 18, 1962, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nevada.

Bill was in law enforcement for 30 years as a detective with the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department. He was an investigator for the Vernon County Sheriff's Department and Vernon County Prosecutor's Office until 1998.

Linda worked for Farm & Home Savings and Loan and what is now U.S. Bank for 23-plus years.

Both enjoy gardening, raising beef cattle and helping Habitat for Humanity with potato dinners.

In celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary, a brief trip is planned for this fall.
