To the Editor:

I guess it has been said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I found something that may fit the description of beauty for you. Many of you many already know about it. However, if you have not seen it and you are a member of the garden club, master gardeners, or just a caretaker of your own little rock garden, it is a must for you to see.

This masterpiece was created, I am sure, by one of great knowledge, experience, expert hands and a strong back. It is located at the intersection of 23rd Street and Ward-Kraft Drive.

This sure brings back memories of when Harold Kraft and I, "representing Fort Scott Industries," were looking for a place to build a new building. That was so he and Jude Ward could move their printing company out of the downtown area and have room to expand. At that time, their present site was an undeveloped plot of rocky ground with no streets or utilities. I guess he and I both had faith that it could happen, because look at it now.

More importantly, look at the jobs that have been created.
