Johnna R. Meek, Fort Scott, passed away at her home Thursday, June 14, 2012.
She was born July 9, 1934, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of John Ray and Iva Eathel (Hencey) Price.
She married Charles Meek in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Johnna worked for Campbell's Laundry and Gibson's Discount Store, and also for a time in Johnny Bean's store.
Survivors include two brothers, George Price and his wife Elaine, of Sun City, Texas, and Jim Price and his wife Theresa of Chicago, Ill.,; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a step-son, Stan Meek, Fort Scott; two step-daughters, Maria Smith, Fort Scott, and Jo Charlene Littlecook of Enid, Okla.; eight step-grandchildren and several great step-grandchildren.
Family and friends will meet at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, and will leave for the Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. where the Rev. Reed Hartford will conduct graveside services.
